Eva Štruplová /Soprano/

Originally from Kutná Hora, after her studies at the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Eva Štruplová received a scholarship in Sienna (Italy) under Carlo Berginzi, and participated in various singing competitions (e.g. Grimsby, Great Britain).

After that, she became a solo singer at the South-Bohemian Theater in České Budějovice. She was featured there in various roles, e.g. Musette (La Boheme – Puccini), Susanna (The Marriage of Figaro – Mozart), Zerlina (Don Giovanni – Mozart, 2006-2008 guest at the Estates Theater in Prague), Despina (Cosi fan tutte – Mozart), Manon (Manon – Massenet), Rosina (Il barbiere di Seviglia – Rossini), Martha (Martha – Flotow), Adina `L´elixird´amore – Donizetti), Terinka (The Jacobin – Dvořák), Jitka (Dalibor – Smetana), The First Fairy (Rusalka – Dvořák), Esmeralda (The Bartered Bride – Smetana), Barče (The Kiss – Smetana), Anina (A Night in Venice – Strauss), Arsena (The Gypsy Baron – Strauss), The Cunning Little Vixen (Little Vixen – Janáček), Gilda (Rigoletto – Verdi, 2003 – Summer Music Festival Performances inČeskýKrumlov, 2008 – guest contract at the F.-X.-Šalda theater Liberec), Violetta (La Traviata – Verdi), Rosina (La veracostanza/True Constancy – Haydn), Krista (The Bird Seller – Zeller), Ännchen (Freischütz/The Freeshooter – Weber), Oscar (Un ballo inmaschera – Verdi, 2008 – Opera festival in Olomouc), Adele (Die Fledermaus/The Bat – Strauss, 2003 – České Budějovice, 2004 – guest contract at the F.-X.-Šalda Theater in Liberec).

Sie gastiert auch am Ständetheater Prag, in J.-K.-Tyl-Theater Pilen, F.-X.-Šalda-Theater Liberci und an der Staatsoper in Ústí nad Labem.

She was also a guest at the Estates Theater in Prague, in J.-K.-Tyl Theater Pilsen, F.-X.-Šalda Theater in Liberec and at the State Opera in Ústí nad Labem. She is an opera singer who performs in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. She has held concerts in several European countries, South Africa and Israel. She performed with Virtuosi di Praga, with the organ player Prof. Václav Uhlíř and many other artists. For Czech TV, she performed the titular role in the opera Ariadne by the Martinů brothers. She participated in the recording of several CDs, including Janáček – Moravian folk poetry in songs, F. X. Brixi – Christmas Mass/Missa Pastoralis, W. A. Mozart - Requiem and others.
